What is Craniosacral Therapy?

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that works with the body’s natural rhythms to unwind tension, regulate the nervous system and support deep healing. It’s ideal for issues like headaches, jaw tension, sleep disturbances, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm, physical pain or tension patterns and whiplash. Many clients say it helps them reconnect with themselves and feel more grounded and at ease.

Can Craniosacral Therapy help with stress or anxiety?

Yes. This therapy works directly with the nervous system, helping your body move from a state of fight-or-flight into rest and regulation. Many people experiencing burnout, trauma, or chronic stress find relief and clarity through this work.

How do I know which treatment to book?

Both support healing, but they work in different ways. Craniosacral Therapy is subtle and deeply restorative, often supporting emotional release and nervous system reset. Remedial Massage is more physical and focused on tension, pain relief or muscular issues. Ideal if you love warm oil and more physical touch. If you're unsure, we can tailor your session on the day or combine both which is the most popular.

Is Craniosacral Therapy safe during pregnancy?

Absolutely. It’s a gentle and supportive therapy that can help with lower back pain, sleep, pelvic tension, emotional regulation, connection to baby and preparing the body for birth. Sessions are adapted to suit each stage of pregnancy. Often a combination massage and craniosacaral session is recommended.

Do you work with children or babies?

Yes! I love working with children and babies. Craniosacral Therapy is especially supportive for babies experiencing birth trauma, feeding or sleep issues, or colic. It’s also helpful for children who are sensitive, overwhelmed, or navigating big transitions.

What should I wear to a session?

For Craniosacral sessions, please wear loose, comfortable clothing - you’ll remain fully clothed and lying down. For massage sessions, you’ll be draped professionally and only the area being worked on will be uncovered. Please remove big earrings, necklaces and watched prior to session.

Do you offer private health fund rebates?

Yes. Rebates are available for Remedial Massage and integrative bodywork sessions with eligible health funds. Craniosacral-only sessions are not typically covered. You’ll receive an emailed receipt you can use to claim directly with your insurer.

Can I book a mobile massage or home visit?

Yes, mobile sessions are available for clients in the Byron Bay, Tweed Coast and Gold Coast areas. Please contact me to discuss your location and availability before booking.
